My Term paper -#5

When I received my COR I look into my subjects to find out what subjects are new to me, and whew! there are lots of them including Biology, Chemistry and English2. As I concentrate my eyes to the last subject I wrote I then formulate a question in my mind ,"Now that I had passed my English1, what about English2? will I pass this subject?"

I asked my roommate who is older than me about this and she said " English2 will give you lots of write-ups to do such as writing an essay and most especially your term paper".After what I've heard from her I thought of something that would be a good to research about. Then I found myself interested about the chamorros or the people in Guam.However, when our professor told us that we should create titles that are related to our courses so that we would be practiced making a paper as a preparation when we will going to make our thesis.

My classmates went to the library to look for titles. As I scan a Biology book I read something about Jellyfish.I can't believe that some species of  it could be so deadly especially the Chironex fleckeri or commonly known as the Box jellyfish, and so that's the start!!! I formulate a title suitable about jellyfish.At first my title was rejected but then I told my professor about some characteristics of this jellyfish which can be good to research about.

As I wrote the body of my paper I find difficulty on how to make it longer because I have a limited outline.So, I look for more informations that could be fit to the body. I researched about them from different books as well as in the internet.At my surprised Box jellyfish are deadly creatures,they're the one which kills a number of people in Australia .As a result I love doing my paper already.

I defended my term paper in front of my classmates and I felt so nervous!!!! after explaining to them about the mechanisms of the Box jellyfish, they asked me some questions. Luckily I was able to answer them without any hesitation.Because of that they rated me as what they think I should have...YEHEY!!! A great success!

A few lines taken from the song "True colors"...Are you wondering why I choose to blog this song of all songs out there?hmmm...actually I have lots of favorite songs but I choose this one because I really love it's meaning.You know, it is only a simple song yet when you listen to it and grasp every single detail for sure you will say " wow!!" such a nice song!! Oh, believe me after listening to this song , you will find yourself craving for another rewind,hehehe....just kidding!!

As what I have understand, the composer is trying to compare  this song to our attitude. According to others,your attitude is being reflected by how your parents raised you.So it is important to train up your child properly and guide him to the right way in order for him to have a productive life.Another factor is also the people around you,when your friends or "barkadas" possess a certain attitude then possibly you will also be like them, because birds of the same feather flock together.

As I listened to this song I could reminisce the days when I was in highschool,I had met a lot of people who have different characteristics.Some are pretending to be a "somebody" in order for them to be in the group,they are trying to tell everyone that they can afford luxury things so that students will love them.They are hiding their TRUE COLOR of their lives and I hate that one.As if they have lots of money and it is okay to spend it unwisely while their parents are striving so hard to raise them and don't even care if they would get sick as long as they could provide good nutrition,shelter and most especially is the EDUCATION!!!- the only treasure we have that cannot be steal by anyone.

In addition,they are also hiding their TRUE attitude in order for them to gain favor by their teachers, as if they love to be the assistant but when the teacher would all ready turn his/her back,oh my!! lots of compkaints were coming from their mouths.

I came to realized, yes! they can be as popular as the celebrities in t.v. but in the end they will be failed and aside from that they will not attain happiness because they should be the person what others know them all ready.In short they do not have the freedom.

Real tears are not those that fall

DLM Escapade # 2

                Datu Lipus Makapandong is actually one of the resort that could be seen in our hometown. This resort was located nearly at the foot of  Mt. Diwata, the famous mountain in our place. It is my favorite escapade because the pool was supplied with fresh water  from the mountain which was very clear and cold. Aside from that, the resort charged us cheaper entrance fee so we could afford to enjoy in the place as often as we liked. Unfortunately the resort is quiet a distant away from the town but as for me and my friends , it added more exciting to the adventure.

                Before going to the place, I used to planned what to brought including my shorts, T-shirts and some personal things then followed by planning the budget that would be consumed in there. Each of us was assigned who would brought the rice, viand and drinks and after that we also set-up the time.

                The following day when things were all ready, we took a rode on a motorcycle. Along the way, we could saw the tall trees on both sides of the roads including wild flowers and animals tamed by man. We also felt the roughness and steepness going to the place. As we approached the resort, we could felt the fresh air and the cold weather underneath the heat of the sun. Then, until we all ready arrived we could saw families having their bonding moment and some  of our friends outside.

                While there, we rented a cottage good for all of us and paid the entrance fee. We arranged the food on the table while others prepared the meat that would be cooked. We talked about things in life and sometimes cracked jokes while waiting for the food to cooked. When the food  was ready all of us prayed and then enjoyed the food on the table.

                When we  were done eating, of course we then jumped into the pool and played different water games. Someone would lead the game that everyone of us could participate. After  a tiresome activities, we sat on the edge of the pool then started to sing a song. Finally, before leaving the place we took pictures which would be a sort of remembrance. We packed up the things and checked them one by one. We walked as a group until we arrived at the highway then that’s the time we took our way going to each of our homes .

My Best Asset # 1

         

               “For you what is your best asset?”, This line is usually we heard in a question and answer portion from a beauty pageant. Some would say their best asset is their eyes, nose or even their lips. It’s because each of our asset is different from others.

                God created us in his own image so therefore there’s no ugly at all. It only exists in the eye of the beholder. The only thing is that God made us uniquely to give emphasize in our different beauties we have. I sometimes thought of myself that I don’t had any qualities , I don’t even possess special skills, but one thing I realized, I had my friends. They said they like being with my company. I asked them why? And they answered me that it is because I am a good friend. I am always at their side ready to listened  whenever they have problems. Aside from that, sometimes I am also the clown of the group because I made everyone smile even though  some are not in the mood so that’s why our friendship grows stronger. It felt good when you know that there were people loved you not because you’re pretty, you’re popular or you’re the son/daughter of the President but because they love the way you are. They just don’t judged you from what they saw on you but they also consider your inner beauty. Now, I can say that my best asset is my attitude.
